Urban PL ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Urban PL mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App. By using Urban PL, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

- Improve the app based on usage patterns
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as follows:
- Supabase — Our backend provider stores your data securely on PostgreSQL servers. Supabase is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and GDPR compliant. See supabase.com/privacy.
- Expo / EAS — Used to deliver the app and push notifications. See expo.dev/privacy.
- Other players — Your name, profile photo, and gameplay stats are visible to other players in the app (leaderboard, match reports).
- Admins — League admins can view player profiles and referee ID documents for verification purposes.
- Legal requirements — We may disclose data if required by law.
4. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest
- All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt — we never store plaintext passwords
- Row-Level Security (RLS) ensures players can only access their own data
- Referee ID documents are stored in restricted cloud storage accessible only to admins
5. Data Retention
- Your account data is retained while your account is active
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time
- Match history and stats may be retained in anonymised form for league records
- Referee ID documents are deleted once verification is complete or application is rejected
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — Update your profile information in the app at any time
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all data
- Opt-out — Disable push notifications in your device settings
- Portability — Request your data in a portable format

7. Children's Privacy
Urban PL is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
Referee applicants must be 18 or older as verified during signup.
8. Push Notifications
We send push notifications to remind you about upcoming games you have joined. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's Settings app.
9. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
